Yep, way to encourage standards. (can't you see what you're doing?)

I make it clear that my tuts are just a guideline and not the definitive way to draw things. I'm just sharing what I know with others.

Actually, my problem lies in the fact that you're encouraging a set style rather than letting people find their own style and conventions.

Well its true that people should find there own style, but there are some universal things that are good to use as a springboard, and if you're just learning manga style these are good things to know. I mean even though everyone has their own style, there are these common threads. American cartoons have them too.

Sides I've found myself when I'm trying to learn something, and I just can't seem to get it right, but then its explained to me in a certain way by someone, or in a book, it suddenly clicks. So I justhope I can do the same for some people.

Unfortuneatly though, if people are going to copy directly, no matter how much I say its a guideline, I can't stop them.

Quite helpful (well, in my opinion). Because I've looked for a more thorough tutorial to manga style faces, and never found one..now I did. Yay.

And yes, you can't prevent people from directly copying..but at least you stated on the last page that your tutorial is just a guideline. Yet..alot of art tuts are just guidelines..hm.

AAAAWWWWW!!! That was soooo cute!
