Yes yes I've been bad, I've been meaning to do more tuts but you know how life gets in the way. But since it was requested a couple times I decided to make a quick tut on digital screentones. Its just, you know, useful knowledge to have. =P

This tut is only how to do them in Adobe Photoshop however, so keep that in mind.

Hello, I downloaded this archive a while ago, and finally i opened it (i forgot and i was busy -_-), and I wanted to thank you for posting such a great tutorial, It really works wonders.
In my last trip to Korea I got some genuine screentones, and I realized how expensive it must be to buy them all the time to draw manga (I'm guessing the professional get a discount of sorts). Obviously i couldn't just use them through the traditional method, because i have one and only one of each kind, and i couldn't figure out how to get any for the adobe photoshop.
Then I stumbled with several of your tutorials, and this one solved my problem. Not only it looks great and realistic, but I can keep my originals for future purposes.
I hope I see more of your tutorials, they are really helpful and easy to understand.
